Description
German grape varieties, nicely separated from the French, 'Histoire oblige'. The late harvest produces overripe and particularly aromatic grapes. Fermentation at low temperatures produces tons of fruit. The marriage (assemblage) between these two particularly aromatic grape varieties produces an invigorating and particularly pleasant soft white wine. A wide palette of fruit on the nose. Melon, apricot, pineapple, lychees, apple, pear, and even hints of orange. Beautiful straw yellow and a slightly bitter taste from the maceration before pressing. What folly. Particularly soft and therefore 'easy drinking'. No wood aging, fresh and fruity. It powerfully accompanies your cold meat preparations, pates, salty cheeses, fruit…. In short, this wine belongs in your picnic basket, or with the BBQ.
